Sugar is a 15″ artist bear made of wavy butterscotch mohair. She’s 5-way jointed and her large paws are needle-sculpted brown ultra suede. Her face is also extensively needle sculpted and trimmed. I hand-painted her glass eyes and backed them with a pad of cream ultra suede. Her nose is embroidered with brown perle cotton and her face, ears, and paws have been shaded with an airbrush. She’s stuffed with firm poly-fill stuffing and glass beads.
And her CORAL SWEATER!! I can not take credit for the sweater. Sugar’s sweater was knit by Hedwig Goesmann and it happened to fit my bear pattern perfectly 🙂
