Cecile is a spirited 24″ hand made cloth doll with a full wire armature. She was inspired by the knight characters in Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer show in 2005. She has a full wire armature.
Her clothing is handmade by me and is fully removable/changeable with Velcro fastenings. Her dress is paper mache covered in hand-painted pink cotton fabric. Her chest piece is made of soft leather. Her shoes are made of a soft pink leather, clay, and lace trim.
Her disheveled synthetic brown hair is hand-rooted. Her face is hand-painted in acrylic.
