Twinkie turned out pretty special 🙂 She’s one of the few bears I’ve sewn fully by hand. She stands at about 7.5 inches and her body is made of a stone/tan colored dense curly mohair from Intercal. Her innocent little facial expression is made with a combination of needle-sculpting and scissor sculpting. Her muzzle is wool-felted with an embroidered mouth. I made her nose out of rose-colored Sculpey clay with a satin finish. She’s got little pads of white ultrasuede behind her bead eyes. Rosy airbrush detailing all around the face.
Her pulled paws are made of a stone/tan ultrasuede and detailed with perle cotton and rosy airbrush details. She’s 5-way jointed with hard discs and cotter pins. She’s stuffed with polyfill stuffing and a pouch of steel shot in the tummy for a nice weight.
She’s dressed in an adorable cream hand-stitched tutu that’s held on with a peach silk ribbon; the same type of peach ribbon ties the adorable little ponytail on top of her head. She holds an antique-style key and a glittery pink Christmas orb on a gold cord.
Twinkie has been adopted and now lives in Germany.
